Optum is looking for a Full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team in Pasadena. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details
- Candidate will be completing senior wellness exams at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Arcadia Methodist Hospital
- Candidates may be asked to round at company-owned outpatient clinics occasionally
- Monday thru Friday, 8 am-5 pm (no weekends, no nights, and no call)
- Census will fluctuate at ~10-14 patients per day (10-12 patients per day on average)
- 40 hours a week with a high degree of autonomy - daily census will dictate the schedule for that day
Requirements
- Unrestricted CA Medical License as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
- CA Drivers license active in good standing
- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner
- Must be comfortable with working in the hospital setting
Preferences
- ICD-10/HCC experience a plus
