Optum is looking for a Full-time Nurse Practitioner​ to join our inpatient team in Pasadena. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details

• Candidate will be completing senior wellness exams at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Arcadia Methodist Hospital
• Candidates may be asked to round at company-owned outpatient clinics occasionally
• Monday thru Friday, 8 am-5 pm (no weekends, no nights, and no call)
• Census will fluctuate at ~10-14 patients per day (10-12 patients per day on average)
• 40 hours a week with a high degree of autonomy - daily census will dictate the schedule for that day

Requirements

• Unrestricted CA Medical License as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
• CA Drivers license active in good standing
• Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner
• Must be comfortable with working in the hospital setting

Preferences

• ICD-10/HCC experience a plus
