Our client located on the Georgia/South Carolina border is seeking an Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with small procedures experience to join their team. Enjoy a full-time permanent opportunity with very competitive compensation and full benefits.

Responsibilities for the Interventional Radiology NP/PA role:

• Helping the radiology team with explaining the procedure to patients as part of their treatment plan, gathering necessary information from patients, communicating with radiology staff about patients and procedures
• Monitoring patient progress, educating patients about after-care and future steps, and writing prescriptions, if necessary.
• Image guided procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial drainages and biopsies, chest tube placement, central venous access, and other tube/catheter management

Minimum Requirements for the Interventional Radiology NP/PA role:

• Minimum of one year of experience as an NP/PA with small procedures
• High level of interest in Interventional Radiology
• Current or Eligible to obtain a Georgia license
