Rutland, Vermont: We seek a skilled Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join the respected Emergency Department staff in the 2nd largest hospital in the state.
Come to this friendly, growing community in the heart of Vermonts scenic ski country! This is a full-time position in a busy ED that sees over 35,000 patient visits per year in a 19-room Level III Trauma Center with an attached Fast Track setting.
Candidates with Urgent Care experience are encouraged to apply! Experience amazing on-the-job support in an atmosphere with medical scribes, chart reviews by expert ED coders, a well-established EMR system, plus 24/7 radiology and lab services. If you like working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of variety, this is for you! You will work alongside a superb team of Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians (the ICU has 24-hour intensivist coverage).
Your schedule will consist of 12-hour shifts with NO overnights (weekdays are 9am-9pm; weekends are 10am-10pm). You can expect to see an interesting range of cases, providing care to an average of 20-30 patients per shift.
