Job Responsibilities
- Assist in neurosurgery, spine, and craniotomy procedures, and perform first assist duties.
- Conduct daily hospital rounds and manage neurosurgical bedside procedures.
- Manage post-operative orders and communicate clinical information effectively.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, handle discharge planning, and respond to emergency department calls.
- Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations in outpatient settings.
- Educate and counsel patients, facilitate referrals, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current, unencumbered Physician Assistant License in the State of CT
- ACLS certification
- Preferred: Two years surgical experience with at least one year in neurosurgery

Working Hours
- Flexible shifts including 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr, with potential for weekend and night shifts based on inpatient or clinic duties
