Van Nuys, CA

Overview:
Our established primary care practice in Van Nuys is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to manage a continuity patient panel providing full-lifespan care. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule within a collaborative, patient-focused clinic.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Competitive salary: $160,000–185,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a continuity patient panel providing full-lifespan primary care
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams, annual physicals, well-woman exams, and Pap smears
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret labs, EKGs, and diagnostic studies
  • Provide preventive care and patient education
  • Review and sign prior authorization and patient forms (e.g., IHSS, DMV, disability) prepared by the operations team
  • Support the founding physician and overall clinic operations
  • Complete patient documentation within 24 hours of each visit

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in California
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
  • DEA registration, or ability to obtain
  • Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care or family medicine experience
  • Comfortable treating patients across the full lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills; experience with EHR systems and bilingual in Spanish preferred
