Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or similar clinical/dental assistant role
• Experience supporting orthodontic procedures, chairside assistance, and clinical operations in a dental or orthodontic clinic
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotations
• Knowledge of sterile technique and strong commitment to maintaining a safe, sterile clinical environment
• Compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and facility policies governing dental and healthcare services
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary dental/orthodontic team

Responsibilities

• Assist the circulator, surgeon, and orthodontic clinicians in the care of patients during procedures and clinic visits
• Provide chairside assistance for orthodontic treatment and clinical procedures
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized clinical environment at all times under the direction of qualified personnel
• Perform a variety of duties to support clinical operations in the orthodontic clinic, including instrument setup, sterilization, and patient preparation
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to clinical needs as required
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, infection-control policies, and facility standards
