### Locums | Family Nurse Practitioner | Inpatient Psychiatry Call | Natick, MA ### Why This Role
- Remote beeper call coverage for inpatient psychiatry unit
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Manage calls from a diverse patient population (adolescent to geriatric)
- Collaborative inpatient behavioral health environment
- Cerner EMR for documentation ### Assignment Details
- Start Date: April 1, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Call Type: Beeper (remote)
- Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Call Volume: 3–5 calls per night
- Patients Seen: 3–5 per shift
- Call Ratio: 3–5
- Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days ### Clinical Details
- Provide remote medical coverage for inpatient psychiatric patients
- Manage medical consults and patient issues via phone
- Coordinate care with onsite psychiatric and nursing teams
- Patient population ranges from age 10 to geriatric (primarily adult)
- Admissions not required ### Requirements
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Active Massachusetts NP license
- Must be able to practice independently in MA
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications ### Compensation
- Rate: Negotiable (facility accepting bids)
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Travel not required (remote coverage)
