###Locums | NP/PA - Urgent Care | No Call | Roanoke Rapids, NC ###Why This Role * Ongoing urgent care coverage with flexible scheduling * High-volume outpatient setting serving adults and pediatrics * Solo provider model with offsite supervising physician support * Multiple locations with opportunities close to home (within 60-mile radius) * Lives within 65-mile radius of sites ###Assignment Details * Start Date: ASAP * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: No Call * Schedule: Dates and shifts to be discussed * Shifts require availability for onboarding and Epic training (Wednesdays only) * EMR: Epic ###Requirements * Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) * Board Certified (NP Boards / NCCPA) * Active North Carolina license (NC only) * NC DEA required * Minimum 12 months urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care experience * Experience treating adults and pediatric patients (6 months+) * BLS required * Strong Epic proficiency required * No new grads ###Clinical Details * Practice Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care * Patient Volume: Average 40 PPD (up to 60 depending on site) * Patients per Shift: Approx. 20+ * Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics (6 months and up) * Procedures include: * I&D * Laceration repair * Ear irrigation * Minor urgent care procedures * Solo provider in center with onsite MA and office staff * Support Staff: * MA: 1 * Office staff: 2 * Center Manager onsite * Supervising Physician provided offsite * No admissions, no call, no rounding * Travel: Mileage only (no lodging or travel reimbursement) ###Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Mileage reimbursed
