Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care
Location: Plano, TX
Status: Full-Time | 3x12-hour shifts per week
Compensation: $60–$80/hour + bonus

About the Role

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Plano, TX.

This role offers the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating patients of all ages, supported by experienced clinical staff and strong operational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Manage occupational health visits
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license (PA or NP)
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• BLS certification
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills
• Experience with x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read

Compensation & Benefits
