Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $80.00 – $85.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a mission-driven outpatient healthcare organization serving underserved and uninsured patient populations throughout Los Angeles County. This full-time opportunity is focused on providing in-clinic acute care telehealth services from the Highland Park location.
This role is ideal for a provider who is passionate about access to care, community health, and delivering timely, high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Position Highlights

No weekend call
Patient volume of approximately 35–40 patients per day

Responsibilities
Provide acute care services through telehealth in an outpatient clinic setting
Evaluate, assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute medical needs
Develop treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up recommendations
Deliver patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, medications, and next steps in care
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care
Support high-quality, efficient patient flow in a fast-paced clinical environment
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing required or Masters as a Physician Assistant
Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
Active California Nurse Practitioner licensure required
Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a certified provider in urgent care required
Clinical rotations during training do not count toward required experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish required, with ability to complete full assessments without an interpreter
Prior urgent care, acute care, telehealth, or community health experience preferred
