Laboratory Assistant

This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory setting, supporting vital diagnostic processes and ensuring accurate, timely results. Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the clinical laboratory or related specialty
  • Proven phlebotomy skills with the ability to collect blood from at least 10 patients per hour
  • Hospital laboratory experience preferred
  • Ability to quickly and accurately move between patients, maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification in Phlebotomy
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and processing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in laboratory procedures or phlebotomy preferred
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting within the last 2 years

Other Requirements:
  • Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday, for a 13-week assignment
  • Must be available to start on 04/13/2026
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols relevant to clinical laboratory work
  • Willingness to travel or receive reimbursements for licensure, certification, or related expenses if applicable
