Schedule: Part-Time | Minimum 4 shifts per month
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days per week
Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Position Overview
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in Aurora, Colorado.
This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking schedule flexibility while practicing engaging urgent care medicine in a supportive, well-structured clinical environment.
Please note: At least 1 year of prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is required for this role.

You will practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting, supported by experienced clinical teams, accessible medical leadership, and clear clinical guidelines. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low to moderate acuity presentations.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care required
• Board certification required
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
