Job description
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (Primary Care/Internal Medicine) to join our hybrid practice in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of primary care experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and proficiency in treatment planning and EHR documentation. Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans within primary care and internal medicine.
Manage acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications in accordance with New York State PA guidelines.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including behavioral health and psychotherapy providers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide patient education on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
Support integrative and holistic treatment approaches, including addiction therapy when applicable.
Uphold high ethical, clinical, and professional standards while working both independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of primary care, internal medicine, and integrative health treatments.
Experience with electronic health record systems and medical documentation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams, including psychotherapy.
Current New York State Physician Assistant license
Ability to work independently and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Experience in addiction therapy and complementary Eastern treatment approaches is a plus.
