Job Title: Primary / Family Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $150,000 – $186,000 annually (DOE, benefits eligible)

Position Summary
The Primary / Family Physician Assistant (PA-C) provides comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with California regulations
Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and families
Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational policies
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current California Physician Assistant license
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification (PA-C)
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
3+ years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
Experience with EHR systems
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
