Job Title: Physician Assistant – Primary Care
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year, Depending on Experience (DOE)
Introduction:
Our respected primary care practice in Rio Rancho is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physician Assistant to join its clinical team. This role emphasizes preventive services, routine health maintenance, and management of both acute concerns and chronic diseases. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with providers and support staff to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to the community.

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
- Formulate and manage individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Provide counseling on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in ongoing education to maintain clinical excellence
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active New Mexico PA license and NCCPA certification
- Minimum of two years of experience in a primary care setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Current CPR certification
