Job description
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time NP or PA to join our growing team in Broomfield, Colorado. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy, fast-paced clinical work, and a strong work-life balance in a supportive urgent care environment.
Position Highlights
• Full-time schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12)
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days per week
• Compensation: $60–$80/hour + productivity bonus
• No after-hours responsibilities
• Monthly schedules released in advance
• Assigned home clinic with local floating support
What You’ll Do
• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Provide clear patient education and follow-up instructions
• Document care efficiently in the EHR

Qualifications
• Active Colorado NP or PA license
• Board certification required
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Job Responsibilities
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits

Provide patient education and treatment plans
Document care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks
Qualifications
Board certification required (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
Active DEA license or ability to obtain
Ability to treat patients of all ages
Active BLS certification
Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Working Hours
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days per week
Rotating weekends and holidays based on clinic needs
Assigned home clinic with occasional floating to nearby clinics
Skills
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
Comfort with initial X-ray interpretation
Ability to practice independently
Strong clinical decision-making skills
Efficient documentation and EHR proficiency
