Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days/week)
Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Position Overview
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Dallas, TX team. This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, variety, and work-life balance while practicing in a well-supported, fast-paced urgent care environment.
Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work, with no after-hours charting, flexible scheduling, and monthly schedules released in advance.
You’ll be supported by experienced clinical staff, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship. Patient volume is engaging but generally low acuity, allowing you to maintain and expand your skill set without inpatient follow-up pressure.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages

Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits

Order and interpret labs and imaging (including X-rays)

Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting)

Communicate treatment plans and discharge instructions clearly

Document care efficiently and accurately in the EHR

Code and bill services appropriately

Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks

Practice in accordance with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required Qualifications
-
Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
-
Board certification or eligibility
-
PA: NCCPA certification
-
NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)

Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Ability to treat patients of all ages

Active BLS certification
-
EHR proficiency
-
Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Preferred Qualifications

Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
-
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)

Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
