A dynamic healthcare facility in Duluth, MN is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage. This role involves providing interventional pain management services, including Trigger Point injections, in an outpatient clinic setting with occasional hospital rounding. The position requires experience in interventional pain or musculoskeletal care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide interventional pain management services.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform Trigger Point injections and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Manage an average of 18 patient encounters per shift.
  • Participate in hospital rounding during the day.

Qualifications

  • Experience in interventional pain or musculoskeletal care is required.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility.
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Minnesota (IMLC not applicable).

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • No call requirements

  • Proficient in conducting physical examinations and developing treatment plans.
  • Experience with pain management techniques.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
