Salary Range
$145,000 – $155,000 annually (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient primary care setting. This role includes direct patient care, continuity and acute care services, co-management of patients with the healthcare team, and clinical leadership support for Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs).
More than 50% of time will be spent seeing patients. The remaining time will be dedicated to Epic In Basket support and mentoring new APPs.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management

Serve as a primary provider for patients within scope of practice

Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary care teams

Provide Epic In Basket coverage support, including:

Reviewing diagnostic test results

Responding to patient messages

Processing medication refill requests

Mentor and support new and incoming APPs

Offer clinical guidance to APPs on patient care questions

Apply evidence-based medicine and adhere to clinical practice guidelines

Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure accurate documentation and improve care workflows

Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery
Required Qualifications

Active California Physician Assistant license
-
5+ years of clinical experience, including 2+ years in Primary Care
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities

Prior experience mentoring or precepting APPs preferred
