We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our growing Urgent Care team in Brownwood, TX. This role provides the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative environment that supports professional development. Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
- Perform minor procedures, including suturing, splinting, wound care, and incision & drainage
- Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and other diagnostics
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education on health, prevention, and treatment
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records
- Follow clinic protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas
- NCCPA certification
- 1–2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
