Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Clinic hours 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days/week
Minimum Commitment: 4 shifts per month
Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Position Overview
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Part-Time NP or PA to join our Lee’s Summit, MO clinic. This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, flexible scheduling, and meaningful community impact in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages

Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits

Order and interpret labs and imaging (including x-rays)

Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting, as applicable)

Provide clear discharge instructions and patient education

Document care efficiently in the EHR

Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required Qualifications
-
Active, unrestricted Missouri NP or PA license
-
Board certification or eligibility
-
PA: NCCPA
-
NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP required)

Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
-
Ability to treat patients of all ages

Active BLS certification
-
Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Preferred Qualifications
-
Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
-
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)

Experience interpreting x-rays prior to radiology over-read
