Physician Assistant (PA) - Mobile Unit
Location: Arizona (Mobile Unit - community events, farms, rural areas)
Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive primary care services in a mobile healthcare setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages through health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and referral. The position requires flexibility, independence, and a strong commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities.
Assignments may range from routine to complex and are performed with minimal supervision, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions

Perform preventive care, health screenings, and patient education

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care

Deliver care in mobile settings including community events, farms, and rural locations
-
Adhere to clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards
Schedule & Work Environment

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Varies weekly based on mobile unit events

Default Schedule: Clinic hours when no events are scheduled

Additional Notes: Late evenings may be required on event days

Required Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
-
Current and valid Arizona RN License (for NPs)

Current and valid Arizona Advanced Practice License (for NPs)
-
Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing (for NPs)
-
Current Arizona PA license (for Physician Assistants)
-
Valid DEA license
-
Current BLS certification
-
CPR and AED certification for Healthcare Professionals (AHA or Red Cross compliant)
-
Experience treating adults with acute and chronic medical conditions

Strong understanding of clinical methods and techniques

Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience

Effective communication skills with patients, staff, and the public

Valid Arizona Driver's License

Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona Department of Public Safety)
