Job description OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care


SCHEDULE:
- 4 Days per Week
- 7:00am to 5:00pm
- 1 Weekend Shift per Month
- No Evenings
- No Holidays
- No On-Call


COMPENSATION:
- $130,000 to $180,000 Annual Income
- $52 to $65 per Hour, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This multi-site healthcare organization has been serving the local community for more than 20 years, providing full scope primary care, urgent care, and specialty services. They currently boast a staff of 15 medical providers, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative team members. Being affiliated with a local hospital, they have convenient access to services for laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray, EKG, and more.



POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard urgent care role in a rural health environment, seeing patients of all ages.

Providers see a variable number of patients per day, depending on need and season. Providers are supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

All work is within the area of standard urgent care:

- obtaining history of present illness
- performing physical examination
- ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing
- prescribing medications

Urgent care procedures include, but are not limited to:

- venipuncture
- dressing changes
- wound management
- application of splints
- incision and drainage of simple abscesses
- removal of foreign bodies

The practice uses an EHR.

This position is open to new graduates. All necessary training will be provided.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA
- FNP or NCCPA certification
- ability to see patients of all ages
