Schedule: 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts) | One on-call weekend every 5 weeks

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a patient-focused primary care practice in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The role offers a balanced schedule, a supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on adult and geriatric patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with clinical protocols and the scope of practice
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources as needed
- Perform minor in-office procedures and limited in-house lab work (based on credentials)
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Idaho
- National certification (NCCPA for Physician Assistant)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in primary care, with functional experience (preferred)
- Active DEA and Idaho Controlled Substance Registration
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work autonomously
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday-Thursday) or (Tuesday-Friday)
- Phone-only on-call rotation approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks
