- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluation
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions; develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with state regulations
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modification
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR
- Manage follow-up care and referral coordination
- Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a culturally sensitive manner
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose acute and chronic conditions; develop and implement treatment plans
Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with state regulations

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications
Master's degree from accredited NP or PA program
Current state license and national certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)
BLS/ACLS certification (preferred or required depending on specialty)
Minimum [X] years of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered, if applicable)
If it is a nurse practitioner candidate, then I prefer the nurse practitioner to have their nursing experience in an emergency room or intensive care unit. Additionally, their nurse practitioner experience should be in primary care, internal medicine or family medicine, emergency medicine or urgent care.
