We are seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This opportunity begins on Dec 31, 2025, and offers 12-hour night shifts covering a 28-bed Neuro ICU. The assignment focuses on critical care management, including stroke, brain trauma, aneurysm, and encephalitis cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU
  • Manage critical and high-acuity neurological patients, including:
  • Stroke
  • Brain and head trauma
  • Aneurysm
  • Encephalitis
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and communication
  • Respond to emergent situations as needed


Additional Information

  • Must have critical care experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Arkansas licensure required
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required
  • Ability to manage complex neurological cases in a high-acuity environment
