Job description We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers weekday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential flexibility for a 4-5 day workweek. Candidates must bring at least 2 years of outpatient family practice experience and possess a current DEA certificate.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and standards

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Virginia
