Locums | Urgent Care (NP/PA) | No Call | Sanford, NC Why This Role

  • Opportunity to provide essential walk-in urgent care for adults and pediatrics
  • Stable Monday–Friday schedule with no call requirements
  • Work independently with strong clinic support and Epic EMR training provided
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: Full-time clinic hours (exact dates listed by facility) Patients per Day: Average 20 (up to 40 based on site volume) Call Details: None EMR: Epic Practice Setting: Outpatient urgent care Admissions Required: No Support Staff: 1 MA, 2 office staff, onsite center manager, and offsite supervising physician Patient Ages: 6 months and older Requirements Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Family Practice, Urgent Care, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine) Active NC license BLS Minimum 12 months of urgent care or emergency medicine experience Must be proficient in Epic Ability to manage clinic independently and treat patients of all ages Clinical Details Scope: Full-service urgent care for adult and pediatric patients Typical Procedures: - Incision and drainage - Laceration repair - Ear irrigation - Other minor urgent care procedures Responsibilities: - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care presentations - Manage both acute and non-emergent conditions - Complete electronic charting for all visits Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
