Locums | APP Urgent Care | No Call | Roxboro, NC Why This Role

  • Outpatient urgent care center with strong support staff
  • Consistent schedule with average of 20-30 patients per shift
  • Multiple locations within 65-mile radius allow for ongoing work
  • Lives within 65-mile radius of sites
Requirements NC license Board Certified NP or PA (Family, Acute Care, EM, or UC) BLS certification Minimum 12 months experience (no new grads) Comfortable working as sole provider with offsite MD supervision Proficiency with Epic EMR Local candidates Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Type of Coverage: No Call Schedule: Full day shifts EMR: Epic Clinical Details Setting: Urgent Care - outpatient only Volume: Average 20-30 patients/day (up to 40 max) Patients: All ages, 6 months and up Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, other minor urgent care procedures Support Staff: Center Manager, 1 MA, 2 office staff, offsite supervising physician Skills Needed Urgent care and minor procedures Ability to see adult and pediatric patients independently Strong communication and patient interaction skills Compensation Rate (capped): $85/hr Malpractice: Provided Travel: Mileage reimbursed
