JOB SUMMARY:

As the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will collaborate closely with the Medical Director to ensure exceptional delivery of medical care. Familiarity with the Center's philosophy, goals, and objectives is essential, as well as compliance with all policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough health history assessments and perform physical examinations.
  • Diagnose patients and develop personalized treatment plans, offering counseling where necessary.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state statutes and professional guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate, problem-oriented health records for each patient in accordance with established policies.
  • Ensure continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services within the Center's scope and your expertise, adhering to the Clinic schedule.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including telephone, videoconference, chat, or face-to-face interactions.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures as required.
  • Facilitate patient referrals for specialized services not available onsite.
  • Review incoming reports promptly, sign, date, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to established departmental and Medical Center policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety standards.
  • Participate in specified health promotion, education, and prevention programs as needed, such as diabetes collaboratives or health fairs, and attend relevant medical center meetings.
  • Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
  • Engage in external medical public relations activities.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to students, clinical support staff, and mid-level practitioners.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
Valid license to practice.
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Working Hours

40 hours weekly. The standard schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. In addition, you will be scheduled every 5th Saturday between 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
