- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; patients scheduled every 20 minutes (including telehealth visits); telehealth scheduled before lunch and as last patient at 4pm, with remaining time for administrative work
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct outpatient visits, managing approximately 3 patients per hour
- Perform comprehensive family medicine assessments and treatments
- Manage telehealth and in-person patient visits as scheduled
- Perform pap smears and provide birth control management (preferred)
- Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate care and follow-up for ongoing medical needs
- Participate in administrative tasks as scheduled
Additional Information
- Must hold a current California PA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) preferred
- Providers must have completed a successful assignment through Barton Associates
- Must be nationally certified as a Physician Assistant
- Six-month commitment required; candidates unable to commit will not be considered
- Credentialing can be completed in 20-30 days for providers with a clean background
- Providers must confirm understanding and comfort with the scheduling template and patient volume
