Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population
- Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and manage therapies in accordance with DEA regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Athenahealth EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings required
- Active licensure in Minnesota required
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR preferred
