Responsibilities and Duties
- Travel to patient locations within Connecticut to provide wound care services
- Perform sharp and surgical debridement, including administration of Lidocaine
- Manage a patient load of 6-7 visits per day
- Coordinate weekly schedule with a scheduler; travel times typically range from 10 to 30 minutes, with rare instances up to 90 minutes
- Maintain timely and accurate charting, including photo documentation using an iPad, with completion required by end of day
- Demonstrate excellent bedside manner and effective communication with patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and documentation standards
Additional Information
- Must have a valid Connecticut Physician Assistant license
- Required board certification: Wound Care
- Several years of relevant clinical experience required, with recent experience (within the last 3-6 months) in sharp and surgical debridement
- Additional certifications are a plus
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for a mobile work environment
