Required Skills:
- Surgical Technician experience, preferably with C-section case experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices
- Ability to interpret surgical protocols and respond effectively to emergencies
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (not mandatory but preferred)
- CNA certification or experience in obstetrics nursing
- Experience working in a hospital labor and delivery unit or surgical setting
- Familiarity with obstetric anatomy and procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of surgical tech experience, with at least two years in a hospital environment preferred
- Prior experience with obstetric and neonatal procedures is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Travel readiness and flexibility for assignment shifts
- Hospital scrubs provided daily
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for specified periods
- Must be able to handle emergency situations and prolonged standing or walking
