A community-based healthcare organization in rural Alaska is seeking a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This role provides primary care, urgent care, and basic behavioral health services to patients of all ages. The ideal provider is compassionate, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a rural setting.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing primary care for all age groups.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Deliver urgent care services, including walk-in visits and minor procedures.
Provide behavioral health support within scope of practice.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
Develop and manage patient treatment plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality care delivery.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the EMR system.
Qualifications
• Active state licensure as a Physician, NP, or PA.
• Strong skills in primary and urgent care; behavioral health experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Rural healthcare experience preferred.
