We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana beginning Dec 1, 2025. This role offers a Monday to Friday outpatient clinic schedule with flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, plus periodic call rotation every 4th or 5th week. The position focuses on consultative care across both solid and liquid malignancies as well as benign hematology cases.

- Schedule: Outpatient clinic Monday to Friday, 36 hours of patient care per week between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); hospital consults on weekdays, rounding on weekends as needed
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage approximately 70 percent oncology and 30 percent benign hematology consults
- Provide care for patients with solid and liquid malignancies and benign hematologic conditions
- Perform comprehensive consultative assessments and formulate management plans
- Participate in call rotation, including one full week every 4th or 5th week, with hospital visits for new consults on weekdays and rounding on weekends
- Deliver outpatient ambulatory clinic coverage, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately document all patient encounters
Additional Information
- Indiana license required
- Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
