About the Position
Position: Emergency Medicine / ED Overflow Physician (Locum Tenens)
Location: Oklahoma
Schedule: 13+ shifts per month | Mix of weekdays & weekends
Shifts: 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 11a–11p, 12p–12a
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated physician to join the ED Overflow team at a 17-bed facility in Oklahoma. This opportunity is ideal for a provider with strong clinical skills, pediatric experience, and flexibility in a dynamic care environment.
Job Responsibilities
Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients in an ED overflow setting
Manage patient ratios of 1:6 or less
Complete medical records, participate in staff training & meetings as needed
Collaborate with ED staff to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care
Qualifications
Completion of ACGME/AOA-approved training in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Med/Peds, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Rotating Program (with residency director approval if applicable)
Active Oklahoma license required
OBNDD & OK DEA with CNHS address (must obtain if not current)
Procedure logs required
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Pediatric experience required
ED rotation experience accepted for recent graduates
Preferred: Locums experience, Cerner EMR familiarity
Working Hours
Flexible shift options (day & evening coverage available)
Consistent schedule – 13+ shifts/month
