Job description JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician Assistant – Family Medicine
• Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
• Location: Craig, CO
• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Phone Call (No On-Site)
• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week (Mon–Fri, 8a–5p)
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Shared phone call coverage (no on-site response required)
• Call Type: Phone-only
• Call Ratio: Shared among family practice providers

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: All ages – Family Practice
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: General family practice care with access to specialty consults

FACILITY INFORMATION
• Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinical tools
• Specialty Backup Available: Pediatrics, General Surgery, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Pain Management
• Support Staff Available: Full Family Practice and specialty team
• Reason for Coverage: Permanent staffing need

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• General family medicine patient care and follow-up
• Coordination with physicians and specialty providers

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Colorado Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
• Certifications: BLS; additional certifications as required for Family Medicine
• Experience: Prior family practice experience preferred
• Other Qualifications:
- Strong team orientation
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to serving diverse patient populations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care across all age groups
• Collaborate with Family Practice team and specialty departments
• Participate in shared phone call rotation
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Support the clinic’s commitment to rural health and quality patient care
