Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
Location: Warsaw, NY - Buffalo 45m
Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine - Primary Care Clinic
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 annually
Schedule: Primarily days, some evenings
Position Overview
Join a collaborative primary care team providing comprehensive outpatient services to individuals and families across the lifespan. The Nurse Practitioner will deliver preventive care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and support overall patient wellness in an accessible, community-based clinic.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient interviews, physical exams, and health assessments
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
* Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic illnesses
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
* Provide patient education and counseling
* Refer patients to specialists or ancillary services when appropriate
* Collaborate with physicians and care team members under established protocols
* Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
* Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
* Certification and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in family medicine or occupational health preferred
* Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills Estimated pay range/amount is $100k to $140k.
