This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join a collaborative Family Practice team in Craig, Colorado. The role involves treating patients of all ages and working alongside experienced physicians in a multidisciplinary clinic offering specialties like Pediatrics, General Surgery, Dermatology, Orthopedics, and Pain Management. The position offers a strong work-life balance, competitive compensation, and access to federal/state loan repayment programs due to the facility's HPSA designation.


Job Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a family practice setting
- Collaborate with a team of three Family Practice physicians
- Coordinate with other specialty providers within the clinic
- Conduct patient exams, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate interventions.

- Participate in shared phone call responsibilities (no on-site response required)
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in the EHR system
- Stay current with clinical practices and medical guidelines
- Promote preventive care and wellness to patients

Qualifications

- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) with a current license to practice (or eligible)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Certified by NCCPA
- Eligible to work in a federally-designated Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team
- Must be comfortable managing a broad range of patient cases across all ages

Working Hours

- 4 days/week
- 10-hour shifts
- Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekends & holidays: Off
- On-call: Shared phone call only, no on-site response required
