Family Practice Physician Assistant Locums Job in North Dakota | Full Time | Assignment #109575

Shift description: Monday-Friday, 0700-1900 (3) 12 hour shifts per week

Details/Requirements:
--Board Certification – Board Certified, Board Eligible
--State License – Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand) ND state license or active IMLC
--Other Certifications – BLS, DEA
--Malpractice – Clean Availability at time of name clear
--Perform physical exams within established protocol.
--Diagnose and treat patients according to protocol guidelines.
--Order appropriate diagnostic tests.
--Prescribe or recommend medications and treatments within protocol guidelines.
--Promote positive lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling.
--Perform minor procedures as necessary (within protocol guidelines).
--Complete documentation within 24 hours.
--Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
--Make follow-up calls to check patient progress.
--Work closely with nurses to ensure efficient patient flow.
--Consult with colleagues as needed regarding patient symptoms for proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
--Perform other duties as assigned.
--Support Staff: Primary Care Providers, Triage nurse(s), 1 nurse per provider, CNA
--Reason for Coverage: Provider Resignation
--EMR: Allscripts AEHR
--Credentialing information: Timeframe 30 days
