We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California, starting 05/12/2025. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on adult care. Spanish speaking ability is required for this position. The PA will be responsible for general primary care duties with minimal procedures, as other providers at the site handle full-scope procedures. Using the Epic/ochin system, the provider will manage a diverse caseload of patients in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on adult care
- Conduct patient examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe treatments
- Perform minimal primary care procedures as needed
- Utilize Epic/ochin system for patient management and record-keeping
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty setting
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Participate in team meetings and care coordination discussions
- Stay updated on the latest developments in family practice and primary care
- Provide patient education on preventive care and chronic disease management
- Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care and satisfaction
Additional Information:
