Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location: Bronx, NY
Compensation: $150,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization serving both community clinics and shelter-based populations, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team in the Bronx. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver primary medical care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.

Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and formulate diagnoses.

Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans using diagnostic data.

Perform routine and preventive physical exams, including gynecological assessments.

Prescribe medications and counsel patients on proper usage and side effects.

Complete all required medical documentation and forms in a timely manner.

Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and specialty consultations.

Administer immunizations and perform phlebotomy as needed.

Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical specialists.

Participate in regular peer review and quality improvement initiatives.

Provide patient education on preventive care, chronic condition management, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Serve as a patient advocate and engage in community outreach efforts.

Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and organizational protocols.

Supervise and train medical assistants across satellite clinic locations.

Participate in case conferences to optimize care planning and outcomes.

Contribute to protocol development and clinical workflow improvements.

Support research initiatives in collaboration with clinical leadership.

Recommend strategies to improve clinic efficiency and patient care delivery.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine is required.

Active, unrestricted PA or NP license in New York State.

Must have independent access to the Medicaid system.
