Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Private Caregiver (Part-Time with Travel)


Location: Houston, TX


Days of Coverage:

Saturday and Sunday (8 - 12 hours)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a private caregiver. This part-time position involves providing high-quality medical care and personal assistance to a private client for three days per week, including required travel to various locations as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health conditions and formulate personalized care plans.

- Administer medications, manage pain, and perform routine medical care with attention to the patient's specific health issues.

- Accompany the patient during travels, ensuring continuity of care and addressing any medical emergencies that may arise.

- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and family members to provide a cohesive approach to the patient’s health and wellbeing.

- Maintain detailed and confidential records of the patient’s health and treatment plans.

- Educate the patient and family about health management, preventive measures, and care schedules.


Qualifications:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.

- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in family medicine, geriatrics, or related fields.

- Excellent diagnostic skills and proficiency in creating detailed care plans.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

- Ability to travel and adjust to flexible schedules according to the patient’s needs.
