Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

New Port Richey, FL


We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our practice. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will hold a current unrestricted Florida license. Our medical providers are experts in Primary Care Practice and we take pride in keeping our patients happy and healthy through our excellent care and service in a cost effective manner. The APRN/PA-C will assist in the medical care of patients in outpatient setting, will provide direct patient care, discussing patient symptoms and concerns, doing some minor skin biopsy along with aesthetic procedures. The APRN/PA-C will also have direct reporting responsibility to the supervising physician of the respective patients for all evaluations and other duties performed.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

· $105K - $130K depending on candidate plus productivity bonus

· 40 hours a week, M-F, no call, no weekends

· Clinic Schedule: 7am - 7pm Monday - Thursday and 7am - 3:30pm on Friday

· Healthcare, CME, PTO, and licensing fees

· Support staff


Requirements for the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

· Must hold current APRN or PA credentials and be in good standing.

· Prior experience in a primary care setting a PLUS

· Prior background and experience in aesthetic procedures highly preferred

· Valid Florida state license for practice.

· Proficiency with ECW EMR system (preferred)


Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

· Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.

· Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients.

· Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis maybe obscure.

· Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

· Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

· Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
