Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Crystal River, FL


We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner/ARNP/PA to join our practice. We are rapidly growing in Florida and rapidly expanding. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner will hold a current unrestricted Florida medical license. Our medical providers are experts in family and internal medicine and we take pride in keeping our patients happy and healthy longer through our excellent care and service in a cost effective manner. The APRN will assist in the medical care of patients in outpatient settings as outlined in the principal duties and responsibilities below and will participate in all aspects of patient care as indicated. The APRN will also have direct reporting responsibility to the supervising physician of the respective patients for all evaluations and other duties performed.

Requirements for the Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate of an Accredited Academy of Nurse Practitioners
  • Active Florida Nurse Practitioner License
  • 3 years’ experience in Family Practice, preferred.


Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner
  • Working Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients.
  • Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis maybe obscure.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
