Arc Health is seeking Advanced Practice Providers (PA or NP) who can do women’s health exams and prenatal care, as well as outpatient primary care services in the area surrounding Ogema, Minnesota. We are seeking clinicians who can make a minimum 8-12 week commitment, beginning as soon as credentialed. ANY state license accepted! The ideal candidate is:
  • Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
  • Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners
  • Comfortable caring for patients with multiple chronic conditions and living and working in a rural community.
Practice Description
  • Typical number of patients per day is 12-14
  • EHR: RPMS
  • Compensation: varies depending on experience - $80-90/hour

About the location

Ogema is a small town located in western Minnesota, USA situated in Becker County and is part of the Detroit Lakes Micropolitan Statistical Area and home to the Ojibwe people. Ogema is approximately 25 miles northeast of Detroit Lakes and about 50 miles east of the North Dakota-Minnesota border. Ogema had a population of around 180 people. It's a tight-knit community with a small-town feel. The town was established in the late 1800s and was named after Ogema, Wisconsin. It was initially built along a railroad line, which contributed to its early growth. Ogema's economy has historically been based on agriculture, with farming playing a significant role in the community. Small businesses and local services also contribute to the town's economy. While Ogema is a small town, it offers access to outdoor recreational activities typical of the rural Midwest, such as hunting, fishing, and hiking. Nearby lakes and natural areas provide opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

Care Teams are led by a provider or dentist, with the patient and their family being the focus and an integral part of the Team.
