Critical access hospital serving Boyd County and surrounding areas since 1971 is seeking a Primary Care/Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join their growing team.
The Opportunity
• Scope of practice includes Outpatient Primary Care with incredibly low volume Emergency Room coverage
• Focus on the patient: See only 7-10 patients per day in clinic and 15-20 patients in the ED per month
• Flexible 4 day work week to supplement a healthy work/life balance
• Collegial and collaborative team based approach to care working alongside one MD and one APP
Requirements
• Experience working in the ED setting
The Community
• Home to the Niobrara River and Missouri River offering excellent fishing opportunities and an abundance of wildlife to observe
• The river also allows for serene kayaking and relaxing float trips for those looking to take in the beauty of Nebraska's great outdoors
• For a historical experience, the local preserve offers guided tours and programs to learn about the natural and cultural history of Nebraska
• Throughout the year, the area is also home to several events where locals come together to enjoy great food, entertainment, and community
