Facility is seeking a part-time board-certified (Family Medicine preferred) physician assistant to join its new hospital-owned practice, Convenient Care clinic. Facility clinic is located within a half mile of the main hospital and ER. With an average daily volume of 25-35, the walk-in clinic treats patients of all ages for a range of acute conditions. We seek a skilled and experienced candidate who is comfortable with being the solo provider and who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
Highlights Include:
- Open 5 days a week: Monday thru Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 12pm
- Provider may be expected to work extended evenings or rotating weekends as practice grows
- Excellent work-life balance-No call requirements or overnight shifts!
- Convenient, walk-in care provided for non-life-threatening injuries to both adult and pediatric patients
- Common needs treated include-respiratory conditions, digestive conditions, urinary conditions, skin conditions, lacerations and sprains, drug testing, IV fluids, immunizations, injections, sutures, x-ray (with radiologist looking behind), and lab testing
- Work injuries in Sampson County as well as follow-ups with patients
- Assist with training, orientation, and clinical support for new providers, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff
