Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in the family practice/internal medicine department. This role is pivotal in providing patient-centered care, working alongside physicians to offer comprehensive health services to patients across all age groups.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-rays.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Maintain up-to-date patient records with accurate documentation of care provided.
Participate in continuing education activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current Physician Assistant license to practice in the state.
NCCPA certification.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient and family-centered care.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
